Literature Search on Glycoscience Research

Objective :
This literature search was conducted to note and describe trends/topics of interest in Glycoscience and its position in life science research.
Method :
This search was manually performed using Pubmed, covering the years between 1950 - 2009 in five-year intervals.
Search terms were selected by the Glycoforum. Therefore, our results should be viewed as as exploratory, not definitive.
